John Steuernagel is a third-generation ornamental horticulturist with over 30 years experience, carrying on his family’s reputation for thoughtful, high-quality landscaping. His thorough knowledge of all styles of landscape design feed into his gift for creating designs that combine utility with aesthetic beauty. He will spend countless hours at the drafting table visualizing and planning your space before ever breaking ground. Once he starts a project, John mentors and leads his dedicated staff through each project. You will not find a designer who is on-site more, from conception to completion, doing what he loves most, which is attentively sculpting nature. He is a multi-faceted artist and master craftsman: a stonemason and hardscape specialist, a carpenter, a mechanic, and a naturalist. John takes great pride in the specifics of his hand-drawn, simple, and graceful designs, and he puts his heart and soul into each garden.

Danielle Steuernagel is an accomplished exterior designer who possesses exceptional artistic talent coupled with a strong love for nature. Danielle’s passion for design began during her tenure as an event producer for high-end corporate clients, where she leveraged her creativity to design awe-inspiring spaces for people. Since joining our team, Danielle has embraced her role as our exterior designer with excitement and dedication alongside her co-founder and husband, John. She ensures that every aspect of the job is executed flawlessly and pays meticulous attention to detail. Danielle keeps herself updated with the latest trends and innovations in the field, working tirelessly with top vendors to bring her imaginative ideas to life. From conception to the final stages of the project, Danielle showcases her excellent work ethic and unwavering dedication.
